The old man and the boy walked around the park, looking for the lost dog. They asked everyone they saw if they had seen a dog, but no one had.
Just when they were about to give up, they heard a bark. They turned around and saw the dog running towards them.
The boy ran to the dog and hugged him tightly. "I'm so glad I found you," he said.
The old man smiled. "I'm glad too," he said. "Now, let's take this little guy home."
The boy and the old man walked back to the boy's house, with the dog following close behind. When they got to the house, the boy's parents were so happy to see the dog. They thanked the old man for helping their son find his dog.
The old man smiled. "It was my pleasure," he said. "Now, I think it's time for me to go."
The boy waved goodbye to the old man. "Thank you again," he said. "I'll never forget you."
The old man smiled and waved back. "You're welcome," he said. "And I'll never forget you either."
The old man walked away, feeling happy. He had helped the boy find his dog, and he had made a new friend.
