Once upon a time, there was a little girl named Little Red Riding Hood. She lived in a small village on the edge of a dark forest. One day, her mother asked her to take a basket of food to her grandmother, who lived on the other side of the forest.
Little Red Riding Hood was excited to help her grandmother, so she set off on her journey. On the way, she met a wolf who asked her where she was going. Little Red Riding Hood told the wolf that she was going to visit her grandmother. The wolf suggested that they walk together, but Little Red Riding Hood declined, saying that she had to hurry to get to her grandmother's house before it got dark.
The wolf then ran ahead of Little Red Riding Hood and arrived at her grandmother's house before she did. He knocked on the door, and when the grandmother answered, he disguised himself as Little Red Riding Hood. The grandmother was fooled, and she invited the wolf inside.
When Little Red Riding Hood arrived at her grandmother's house, she was surprised to see that her grandmother looked different. The grandmother's voice was much deeper, and her eyes were much bigger. Little Red Riding Hood asked her grandmother why she looked so different, and the wolf replied that she was sick.
Little Red Riding Hood went into the kitchen to prepare a meal for her grandmother. While she was in the kitchen, the wolf ate the grandmother. Then, he put on the grandmother's nightgown and got into bed.
When Little Red Riding Hood returned to the bedroom, she saw the wolf in bed. She thought it was her grandmother, so she said, "Grandmother, what big eyes you have!" The wolf replied, "The better to see you with, my dear."
Little Red Riding Hood then said, "Grandmother, what big ears you have!" The wolf replied, "The better to hear you with, my dear."
Little Red Riding Hood continued to ask questions, and each time the wolf answered with a reply that made him seem more and more like a wolf. Finally, Little Red Riding Hood realized that the wolf was not her grandmother. She screamed and ran out of the house.
A hunter who lived nearby heard Little Red Riding Hood's screams. He ran to her grandmother's house and killed the wolf. He then cut open the wolf's stomach and rescued the grandmother.
The grandmother and Little Red Riding Hood were very grateful to the hunter for saving them. They learned a valuable lesson that day: always be careful of strangers, especially if they are wolves.
